Not everything an attorney does in the course and scope of representing a client is covered by the attorney-client privilege.  In an article published by the New York Law Journal on October 16, 2015,, Harry Steinberg, who heads Lester Schwab’s Appellate Practice Group, explores when an attorney’s work is covered by the work privilege and when it is not and the difference between the absolute privilege and the qualified attorney work-product privilege.
